During the month of November, the UVL members were invited by the Ministry of Agriculture to participate at the Lebanese Wine Day in San Fransisco and Los Angeles. Lebanese television stations such as MTV and LBC covered the event and a majority of professionals in the wine industry attended this wine tasting.
On October 25th until the 29th, the UVL received 12 students that are currently completing their Master of Wine degree. Masters of Wine is regarded as the wine industry’s highest standard of professional knowledge. Visitors came from different backgrounds such as the Food and Beverage industry, the hospitality industry, Sommeliers, Wine critics, and so on. [...]
Following the Salon Du Vin in Paris, UVL organized a professional wine tasting at the Boghossian Foundation Museum, in Brussels as a follow up activity to the Megavino back in 2016. 17 wineries participated and a group of 160 carefully selected wine connoisseurs, business owners, sommeliers attended this tasting. The UVL participated as guest of honor at the Salon du Vin, RVF in May 2017, one of the biggest wine fairs in Paris. 21 wineries attended and represented Lebanese wines. The participation of the wineries was financed by the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture.
